One way of finding the answer of this question is by remembering BEDMAS

    Brackets- 6-2=4

    Exponents- No exponents.

I'll have to do multiplication before I divide.

    Multiplication- 4(4)=16

    Division- 16÷2=8

    Addison- 3+8=11

    So the answer is 11!

  5. 3+4(6-2)÷2= 11

I figured out the order of doing this by remembering the acronym "BEDMAS", which you can see by looking at the capital letters of the words I am listing below.

    Brackets - 6 - 2 = 4
Exponents - There are no exponents in this particular expression.
    Division - 4 ÷ 2 = 2
    Multiplication - 4(4) = 16
    Addition - 3 + 16 ÷ 3 = 11

    The overall answer is 11.

  7. 3 + 4(6-2) ÷ 2 = ?

I solved this problem by using the 'BEDMAS' operation, and the steps i used are,

    1) Brackets-
    6-2= 4

    2) Exponents-
    There are no exponents,

    3) Division-
    4÷2= 2

    4) Multiplication-
    4(4)= 16

    5) Addition-
    3+16÷3= 11

    So the answer is 11,
    3+4(6-2)÷2= 11

  12. Question: 3+4(6-2)÷2=?

I used BEDMAS to get my answer.

3+4(6-2)÷2 First you do the brackets: 6-2=4
3+4(4)÷2 There is no exponents so you do the multiplication: 4(4)=16
3+16÷2 Then you do the division: 16÷2=8
3+8 Finally do the addition: 3+8=11
    11 is the answer.

    Brackets:6-2=4
    Exponents: No exponents
In this math question, the multiplication goes first. So: 4(4)=16
Then the Division goes next: 16÷2=8
    Addition: 3+8=11
    Subtraction: No subtraction.
    11 is the answer.

  22. The way I used to answer 3+4(6-2)÷2= is BEDMAS.

The first step to BEDMAS is Brackets. (6-2)=4

Rewritten: 3+4(4)÷2= The second step to BEDMAS is Exponents. Since there are no exponents, I moved on to the third step.

The third step to BEDMAS is both Division and Multiplication. Whichever comes first in the equation is the one you do first. 4(4)=16
    Rewritten: 3+16÷2=
    16÷2=8

Rewritten: 3+8= The last step to BEDMAS is also both Addition and Subtraction. Also, whichever comes first in the equation is the one you do first. 3+8=11

There is no subtraction in this equation so the answer to this equation is 11.

  25. Question for today:
    3 + 4(6-2) ÷ 2 =

To answer this I would use BEDMAS ( Brackets, Exponents, Division, Multiplication, Addition, and Subtraction. This process shows what you do first in a math problem or equation.

Brackets: (6-2) changed to (4)| New equation: 3+4(4)÷2=
Exponents: Ehh no exponents for today
    Multiplication: 4(4)= 16 | New equation 3+16÷2=
    Division: 16÷2=8 | New equation: 3+8
    Addition: 3+8=11
Subtraction: Sorry, no negativity here >:D

Answer: The answer we came up with at the end of BEDMAS was 11.

    Q.Why do Multiplication before division??
    A. I used multiplication first because in the process of BEDMAS, you do which ever comes first. Same thing goes for Addition and Subtraction.

Best technique to figuring this out is BEDMAS.
You'll need to follow each step of BEDMAS. Since brackets are first, we need to see if the equation has any brackets.
The brackets in this case is (6-2). We now have to solve that. 6-2=4. We have to rewrite the equation with our answer from the brackets.
    *3+4(4)÷2
Next are the exponents. There aren't any exponents so we skip that part.
We take the two digits, 4(4) and solve this expression. A number in front a bracket and another number tells you to multiply. 4x4=16. We need to rewrite the expression again.
*3+16÷2 We have to divide 16 by 2. 16÷2=8. Rewrite the expression again...
*3+8 and the rest is easy to solve. 3+8=11.
Our answer to the math question is 11.

  29. Heeeelllo.

    3 + 4(6-2) ÷ 2 =
To solve this equation, you can use BEDMAS

    B(Brackets)- 6-2=4
    E(Exponents)- No exponents.
D(Division)- You technically have to multiply first because there is nothing to divide as of right now.
    M(Multiplication)- 4(4)=16
{Now we can go and divide 16 by two. 16÷2=8
    A(Addition)- 8+3=11
    S(Subtraction)- no subtracting.

    The final answer is 11.

*but I think I found a different answer..*
    Let's try this again.

    3 + 4(6-2) ÷ 2 =

    B- 6-2=4
The equation now looks like this: 3+4(4)÷2
WOAH THERE COWBOYY! I SEE BRACKETS!
Does this mean we do this too?
    Let's try it.
    4(4)=16
our equation now looks like this: 3+16÷2
    *Lets continue with BEDMAS*
    E- no exponents.
D- it wouldn't make sense to divide right now.
    M- nope.
    A- aha! 3+16=19
    * now we can go to division
    19÷2=9.5
    S- nope.

The answer to this equation is 9.5....

So there are two answers? I don't know.
    Aha ok bye(:

  33. BEDMAS Method.

    First, write the question.
    3+4(6-2)÷2= ?
    Then let's go to brackets.
    6-2 = 4
The "E" would stand for Exponents, but there are none in this equation.
    So next is Division.
    4 (coming from the brackets we just solved) ÷ 2 = 2
    Next is multiplication.
4(4) = 16. Those brackets are for multiplying.
We're almost done. Now it's addition.
Right now it would be 3 + 4(4)÷ 2. Now let's do the addition.
16 has to be divided by 2 so, 3 + 8. Division is used ahead than addition.
    3+8 + 11
    All steps:
    3+4(6-2)÷2=
    3+4(4) ÷2 =
    3+ 16 ÷ 2 =
    3+ 8 = 11

  38. BEDMASS:

    3+4(6-2)÷2

First we look if there are brackets, yes there are brackets so we answer the equation in the brackets.6-2=4
Now we write the equation again which becomes 3+4(4)÷2

Now what is next is exponents but there is none so before we move on to division we would have to multiply first.(The four is from the answer to the bracket equation).
    4(4) or 4x4=16
Now we right the question again, 3+16÷2
Next is division, now we divide 16÷2 which equals 8, So we right the question again, 3+8
Now we add 3+8 which gives us 11.
11 is your answer to the bedmass problem. (There is no subtraction).
